This project helps increase physical and vocal confidence whilst offering opportunities to try new things and make new friends.

The project is delivered both face to face and on zoom and is available to children and young people across Wales.

The UCAN Network Project offers a wide range of creative activities to vision impaired adults and young people over the age of 18.

One of the many activities includes the SASI group (Self Advocacy for the Vision Impaired).

This very popular group has created podcasts, audio dramas and bespoke performances for conferences.  This group regularly acts as a consultation group for other organisations.

Anthem

Anthem’s Atsain funding is enabling UCAN to develop and expand our music participation work with vision impaired members (aged 25 and under). We are using this to develop new best practice guidelines and techniques to share with partners and networks, explore new ground in music technology accessibility, and deliver accredited Arts Awards to participants.

Members have full choice and control over the direction of their musical projects and development. We also support members in collaborating on each others’ projects and sharing skills.
